What is a worship service like?
Our worship follows the pattern of covenant renewal, where God graciously draws near to His people and we respond in faith. He calls us to Himself by His Word; we confess our faith and our sins; and we consecrate our lives to Him in praise and prayer. God then cleanses and nourishes us through the reading and preaching of Scripture and communes with us through the sacraments. Finally, He commissions us with His benediction, sending us out in the strength of His covenant promises. We warmly invite you to join us in this rich rhythm of Reformed worship.

What about my kids?
There are several opportunities for your child’s Christian Education on Sunday mornings at First Presbyterian Church. When you arrive at the church, visit the children’s information table to talk to someone and find out more.
Nursery:
We have a warm and well-staffed nursery for newborns to 3-year old children just across the Breezeway from the Sanctuary. Care of children four years of age (before September 1 of the year) and older is provided by the Children’s Ministry through their educational programs.
Children:
We encourage children aged 4-5th grade to join us for Sunday School from 9:30-10:15 am. During this time, the children will study God’s word, memorize scripture and the catechism. Children are dismissed to parents at 10:15 am to join the worship service.
Youth:
Grades 6–12 are invited to worship with their families at 10:30 AM and Sunday School at 9:30 AM.
