Sundays

What to Expect

We’re glad you’re considering a visit to First Presbyterian Church in Coral Springs. Join us for God-honoring worship, be challenged by Biblical teaching, and find encouragement through fellowship with other Christians. We look forward to meeting you!

What is a worship service like?

Our service is a traditional, reformed time of worship. We begin with a call to worship from Scripture and conclude with a benediction. We sing hymns, confess our faith, and have a pastoral prayer. The sermon lasts about 30 minutes. The whole service is about an hour. We warmly invite you to join us!

For a more detailed guide to our worship, see our Worship page.

When are the service times?

Where do I go once I arrive?

Everything funnels through the outdoor breezeway. The sanctuary is on the left side; the Welcome Center and Nursery are on the right. Look for our greeters to welcome you and point you in the right direction.

What do I wear?

You are welcome to come dressed however you are comfortable. Most dress business casual.

What about my kids?

There are several opportunities for your child’s Christian Education on Sunday mornings at First Presbyterian Church. When you arrive at the church, visit the children’s information table to talk to someone and find out more.

Nursery:

We have a warm and well-staffed nursery for newborns to 3-year old children just across the Breezeway from the Sanctuary. Care of children four years of age (before September 1 of the year) and older is provided by the Children’s Ministry through their educational programs.

Children:

We encourage children aged 4-5th grade to join us for Sunday School from 9:30-10:15 am. During this time, the children will study God’s word, memorize scripture and the catechism. Children are dismissed to parents at 10:15 am to join the worship service.

Youth:

Grades 6–12 are invited to worship with their families at 10:30 AM and Sunday School at 9:30 AM.

How do I connect?

We look forward to seeing you and would love the chance to meet you! Our pastors and greeters always look to welcome visitors at the close of the worship service.

If you would like to reach out before your visit and let us know you are coming, we will be looking out for you.
