Prelude
Call to Worship - Psalm 100
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
*Hymn No. 30 - Our God, Our Help in Ages Past
*Invocation & Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
*Confession of Faith - The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic** church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
**The word catholic refers to all true believers throughout all ages.

Welcome
Call to Worship - Psalm 150:1–2, 6
Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
Invocation
*Hymn No. 1 - All People That on Earth Do Dwell
Scripture Reading - Psalm 103
Prayer of Confession - (responsive)
We read: “Praise the Lord,” yet we confess how easily our praise grows quiet.
Lord, breathe life into our worship.
We read: “Praise God in His sanctuary,” yet we confess how
often our hearts feel far from You.
Draw us near with Your mercy.
We read: “Praise Him for His mighty deeds,” yet we confess
how quickly we forget Your goodness.
Teach us to remember with gratitude.
We read: “Praise Him with trumpet, harp, and dance,” yet we
confess how tightly we hold our joy.
Loosen our fear; awaken our delight.
We read: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord,” yet
we confess how often our breath is spent on worry, complaint,
or pride.
Renew our breath, restore our praise, and lead us into Your
life. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon - Isaiah 1:18
Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
