Prelude
Call to Worship - Psalm 95:1–3
Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Invocation & Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

*Confession of Faith - Westminster Larger Catechism, Q. 75
Q. What is sanctification?
A. Sanctification is a work of God’s grace, whereby they whom God has, before the foundation of the world, chosen to be holy, are in time, through the powerful operation of his Spirit applying the death and resurrection of Christ unto them, renewed in their whole man after the image of God; having the seeds of repentance unto life, and all other saving graces, put into their hearts, and those graces so stirred up, increased, and strengthened, as that they more and more die unto sin, and rise unto newness of life.

Putting on Christ
Rev. Cilas Menezes
Colossians 3:12–17
Confession of Sin - (unison)
Heavenly Father, we confess that we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. You call us to put on compassion, kindness, humility, and patience, yet we have walked in pride and hardness of heart. We have not forgiven as we have been forgiven, nor let the peace of Christ rule within us. Have mercy on us, cleanse us for Jesus’ sake, and renew us to a walk in thankful obedience before You. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon - 1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Scripture Reading - Revelation 21:1–11
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
Prayer of Consecration - (responsive)
Father in heaven, we thank You for the freedom You have given us through the life, death, and resurrection of Your Son.
We now consecrate ourselves to live fully in that freedom. Instead of living like slaves, we choose to live as those in whom You delight.
Instead of avoiding You in shame and guilt, we draw near to You with confidence and joy.
Instead of trying to earn Your favor with our efforts, we receive it as a gracious gift.
Instead of clinging to our chains, we embrace the liberty Christ has won for us.
Instead of pursuing our short-sighted agendas, we surrender completely to Your perfect purposes.
Take us, Lord. We give ourselves to You. Consecrate us. Empower us. Use us. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Divine Response of Encouragement - Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
